چکیده
Three-dimensional dynamic MRI (3D-DMRI) is a promising method to analyze respiratory mechanics. However, current 3D DMRI implementations o er limited temporal, spatial resolution and volume coverage. In this work we demonstrate the feasibility of three compressed sensing reconstruction methods along with view-sharing method with clinical evaluation on 8 healthy subjects by expert radiologists. BCS scheme provides better performance than other schemes both qualitatively and quantitatively. The preliminary results on lung volume changes demonstrate the clinical utility of the BCS scheme. Free Breathing Dynamic Contrast Enhanced 3D MRI with Resolved Respiratory Motion
PURPOSE: Respiratory motion is a major issue in abdominal MRI, especially for pediatric patients who have difficulty performing breath-holds. The problem is exacerbated in lengthy scans, such as for dynamic contrast enhanced (DCE) MRI. Much of the previous work has been focused on reducing respiratory motion artifacts through reconstruction correction schemes. An alternative approach is resolvi...
متن کاملMotion corrected compressed sensing for free-breathing dynamic cardiac MRI.
Compressed sensing (CS) has been demonstrated to accelerate MRI acquisitions by reconstructing sparse images of good quality from highly undersampled data. Motion during MR scans can cause inconsistencies in k-space data, resulting in strong motion artifacts in the reconstructed images. For CS to be useful in these applications, motion correction techniques need to be combined with the undersam...
متن کاملNonlinear profile order for 3D hybrid radial acquisition applied to self-gated free-breathing cardiac cine MRI
Background Self-gated free-breathing 3D cardiac cine MRI has been widely introduced, which provides similar image quality and functional measurements as breath-hold technique [1-3]. In self-gated free-breathing cardiac cine MRI, respiratory and cardiac motions are unpredictable during the acquisition especially in retrospective reconstruction. Therefore, nonuniform k-space distribution is a maj...
متن کاملLocalized spatio-temporal constraints for accelerated CMR perfusion.
PURPOSE To develop and evaluate an image reconstruction technique for cardiac MRI (CMR) perfusion that uses localized spatio-temporal constraints. METHODS CMR perfusion plays an important role in detecting myocardial ischemia in patients with coronary artery disease. Breath-hold k-t-based image acceleration techniques are typically used in CMR perfusion for superior spatial/temporal resolutio...

vertical line for standard and motion-guided L+S reconstruction of 12.8-fold accelerated abdominal DCE radial data acquired during free-breathing. The arrows indicate temporal blurring in the standard L+S image and y-t plot, which are removed by the motion-guided L+S approach without loss of spatial resolution.
